POWER DISTRIBUTION

Through Korea’s first Utility Helicopter project, we developed and
achieved performance levels that matched or exceeded similar
foreign product. We also successfully created Korea's first power
distribution system for rotary-wing aircraft.

Overview

EMB (Electrical Master Box)

The AC power distribution unit distributes alternating current power generated by the main generator (or auxiliary generator, or ground power unit) to the aircraft AC bus, AC loads and transformer rectifier units(TRUs).
DC power distribution units distribute converted power from batteries or DC converters to the aircraft DC bus and DC loads.
Automatically adjust distribution networks to ensure consistent power delivery to loads depending on the incoming AC/DC power conditions.
Offer the protection against failures of the ground power unit and supply the information to cockpit multifunction displays(MFDs) for visualizing the aircraft’s electrical status.
